Abstract

The use of sildenafil (Viagra) and the combination of this drug in the treatment of erectile dysfunction is of growing interest and is a potential therapy for men who do not respond to sildenafil or to the treatment of other diseases that are associated with the occurrence of this side effect. The use of sildenafil and its analogues in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) has been reported, but this has not yet been evaluated in the clinical setting. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether sildenafil or its analogues have the ability to improve erectile function in men with ED. We also wanted to evaluate whether the treatment of ED with the use of sildenafil or other erectile drugs could also improve erectile function in the treatment of ED in men with ED.
